Registration, Email, & Password Help

How can I become a registered user of your website?
Registration is simple and easy! Simply fill out our online form, and you can begin enjoying all the benefits that www.innovative-educators.com has to offer.

Our valued and established customers who used the old Innovative Educators website will need to register again. For your security the usernames and passwords from the old website did not automatically flow into the new website.

We recommend that you use a different username and password for the new website than you used for the old website.

Innovative Educators does not have access to your password.

No two individuals may use the same email address.

How do I change my email address?
You can change your email address in “My Account”.

What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password click on the link “Forget Your Password?” on the sign in page. On the password help screen, enter your email address and click “Reset Password.” Password reset instructions will be emailed to you.

Innovative Educators does not have access to your password.

Ordering & Checkout

Do I have to register to place an order?
You do not need to register to place an order at www.innovative-educators.com. You may continue the checkout process as a guest without registering. If you want to enjoy the benefits of being a www.innovative-edcuators.com user such as favorites list, address book, order history, and order tracking, you will need to register and sign in.

How do I place an order?Ordering is easy! Find the items you are looking for by browsing through our categories. You may also search by item number, product name, ISBN number, author’s name, or keywords. Once you find an item you like, enter a quantity and click the “Add to Cart” button.

When you are ready to check out, click on “the cart icon” or the “Checkout” button and you can review the items in your cart. To start the checkout process, click “Proceed to Checkout.”

If you have not already signed in, you will be taken to a sign in page where you can sign in, create an account, or checkout as a guest. You will then fill in your billing, shipping, and payment information. When you are finished, click “Place Your Order.” An order confirmation will be emailed to you immediately.

How do I use the Quick Order Form?
The Quick Order form allows you to order any catalog item by using the item number found in the catalog. Simply enter the item number and the quantity. The name of the product and price will automatically appear on the form. Once you have added all of the items you want, click “Add to Cart” to place the items in your shopping cart.

Can I place an order by phone or fax?
You can place your order by calling Innovative Educators at 888.252.5437, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST. Orders may be faxed to 888.536.8553.

Our organization needs books sent to our classrooms each month. Can we set up an automatic ordering and shipping schedule?
Yes, call us at 888.252.5437 and explain your needs. Provide us with the titles you want shipped on a monthly basis. You may also provide us with the age level, book format, and your budget. We will then assist you with the selection of age-appropriate books.

Can you customize a book set for our program?
Yes, we can customize book sets to meet your specific program requirements. Please call with information regarding your program (age level of children, book format, your budget) and we will customize a set for you.

What if I do not see a title I would like to order in your catalog?
We can order almost any title that is in print. Please call us for a quote on titles that are not listed on our website or catalog. Titles that are special ordered for your program may take up to three weeks to arrive at your location.

Do prices ever change on your website?
Yes, we will avoid price increases as long as possible. Sometimes prices may change due to price increases from the publishers. If increases absolutely cannot be avoided, we will bill you at the new price. If the increase is substantial, we will notify you first. Our website remains updated regarding current prices and availability of all products.

Do you ever substitute book titles?
Occasionally, only when some of the books in our sets are not available from the publishers. In these situations we will substitute a book of similar value to complete your order. If you order a specific individual title, we will not substitute.

Can I check my past order history?
Yes, click on “My Account” located at the top of the page and select “Order Status & History.” You will be able to view your complete online order history.

Is the information I provide during checkout secure?
Shopping online with Innovative Educators is secure and safe. We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), which is online encryption technology. This procedure ensures that your personal and credit card information remains secure. SSL encryption allows you to order with confidence. Click Privacy & Security Policy for additional information.

Innovative Educators does not keep a record or has access to either your credit card number or your password.

Do you charge sales tax? What if I am exempt from paying sales tax?
Unless your organization is tax exempt, we are at the present time required by law to charge sales tax only in two states (Georgia and North Carolina).

How will I know if Innovative Educators received my order?
We always send an email confirmation after you place a website order. This confirmation will include your order number and an order summary.

Can I use a purchase order number when placing my order?
Yes, you can order online using a purchase order number. In the payment screen of the checkout process you will be asked to fill in the name of your organization (school/center/institution), purchase order number, and a daytime phone number.

What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases?
We accept the following major credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. When placing an order you must use the same address and zip code in your Billing Information as you use for your credit card.

Shipping

Can you ship to multiple locations using the same purchase order number?
Yes, we can ship to multiple sites using the same purchase order number. Contact us and then email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or fax an address list of your locations. On the address list include the name of your organization (school/center/institution), physical address, a contact person, and phone number. Reference your address list to your purchase order number. Your purchase order number will be clearly indicated on each shipping label. Each location will also receive a packing slip indicating exactly what is being shipped to them.

What delivery methods do you offer?
We ship orders via UPS ground. UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air are also available. Please call for details. If you would like to use UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air your order must be placed by phone before 10:00 a.m., EST to be shipped the same business day.

Large orders are shipped via UPS Motor Freight. When requested or if necessary such as APO/FPO the U.S. Postal Service is used.

What are your shipping charges?
Standard shipping charges are 10% of the merchandise total for orders within the contiguous U.S. with a minimum charge of $10.00. For Alaska and Hawaii standard shipping charges are 20% of the merchandise total for orders with a $20.00 minimum.

What should I do when I receive my order?
Please check all packages for any damages or shortages immediately upon receipt of your order. Call within 10 days to advise us of any discrepancies. Please have your invoice number available when you call

Order Tracking

How do I track my order?
If you are a registered user and signed in when you placed your order, you can track the order from “My Account” located at the top of the page.

After you click into My Account, click into Order Status & History. Your complete order history will be displayed. When your order has shipped the word Shipped will appear under Status. The tracking number will be displayed. You may click into the tracking number for shipping details from UPS. You will also receive an email confirming that your order has been shipped.

Backorders

What happens if an item that I order is placed on backorder?
Rarely are items backordered. Backordered items will receive our highest priority and will be shipped as soon as possible. You will not be invoiced for your order until it has been shipped in its entirety.

Return & Refund Policy

What is the return and refund policy for Innovative Educators?
If you are unhappy with any item, the item may be returned to us for a full credit or exchange. Our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with your order. You may return your order up to 30 days from the ship date that is indicated on your packing slip. For details, visit Return & Refund Policy.
